Journey with a friend or alone in this mysterious puzzle platformer where 2 people from different worlds must help each other through gravity manipulation to reach the end. Push blocks, use portals and manipulate gravity to solve puzzles and help your partner to reach the end.

GAME OVERVIEW

Inverted is a 2D atmospheric co-op puzzle platformer where 1 or 2 players controls a character who can only move inside their color world. Players can change the gravity of their color-coded world changing the worlds gravity and objects of the same color outside their world. Help the other player reach their goal by pushing blocks through portals.

DEVELOPMENT

Inverted was a school game jam project where we had 3 days to create a game. All the 2nd years students and some 3rd year students participated in the competition. Our team consists out of 6 indie student (me included) and 1 game graphic production student. We decided to make the project in unity because we had the most experience in it. I took the role as project leader of the team and helped designing the levels and scripted the animation. The 3 days where grueling and stressful I really learned how to manage a team under heavy stress and a small time crunch. But our efforts where rewarded when the 1st years student voted our project as the winner of the game jam.
